Wednesday 2nd April, 7.00pm
Council Chamber, Civic Offices, Euclid Street
The Queens Park Community Council meets the first Wednesday of the month at the Civic Offices
to discuss local matters, organize events and work with our local Neighbourhood Police Team.
This coming Wednesday amid our normal agenda we will have a special item on the road safety
of Drove Road.
The tragic death of seven old Tyrese Hannah in Drove road on 14th March was the third serious
accident in the road in three months. Without doubt the road is an accident black spot but
what are the causes and what can be done?
Inspector Carly Nesbitt of the Wilshire Police and Bob Sanders Swindon Council's lead
Highways officer will be attending the meeting.
This will be an opportunity to hear their views, ask questions and put forward suggestions.
Please note due to the police currently investigating Tyrese's death with potential legal
action they will not be able to discuss details of the accident.
For further details on any of the above items, please contact Stan Pajak on 01793 642936 or
by email for more information.
